Einkorn Sourdough Chicken  Pot Pie

Sourdough chicken pot pie is the perfect homestead lunch or dinner. Packed with protein and vegetables, sourdough chicken pot pie is made with einkorn flour and sourdough starter for a healthy meal!

INGREDIENTS

- Sourdough pie crust (recipes linked in the full post) - Butter - Vegetables - Cooked chicken - Bone broth - Herbs - Einkorn flour - Cream or milk - Egg

1. Mix the Pie Crust Dough Mix the pie dough and place it in the fridge while you make the rest of the pie.

2. Sauté the Veggies Sauté the vegetables until they are tender. Add the meat.

3. Add the Roux After adding the meat, add the roux ingredients and simmer for 5-10 minutes.

4. Assemble + Bake Assemble the pies in cast iron skillets. Add the egg wash, slice the tops, and bake.
