Homemade Ice Cream Cake


- 1 Prepared 9" cake - 2 Pints Store-bought ice cream or one batch of homemade ice cream - Heavy cream - Sugar - Vanilla

Line a cake pan with plastic wrap and scoop the ice cream into it. Freeze until solid.

Assemble the cake by stacking the prepared cake with the ice cream layer.

Prepare the whipped cream frosting and frost the cake.  Return to the freezer for about an hour.
