How to use your 31 Days of Healthy Living EBook
Here are some helpful tips to get the most of your EBook:
First, make sure to read each page in order. Sometimes the days build on each other and one day will reference back to the other day. So if you can, try to read the days sequentially.
Second, if you are totally new to yoga and have never tried it, this book will be perfect for you! I go into detail on each yoga pose and how to do it, what it does for you, and step-by-step instructions for getting the most out of it. Even if you have done yoga before, you will still want to read the descriptions on each of the yoga pages. I tried to discuss the breathing patterns to go along with the body movements, which is what makes yoga so beneficial. So try the yoga moves out with the breathing patterns, instead of just looking at the photo and being done.
Lastly and most importantly, do this with your family or friends! I used to exercise a lot with my mom when I was a kid growing up. Now, we still work out together sometimes! Or we’ll say, “when was the last time you went to yoga? I’m going today, want to come?” And then at Thanksgiving, we cooked several turkeys with my whole family, and my mom and split the bones so we could each make bone broth at home (something I show how to do in the EBook). So it’s really nice to have a friend or partner to promote healthy living with. It’s fun and a win-win for everyone!
How to do the Monthly Budgeting Template
On day 25 and in some other places through the EBook, I talk about personal budgeting for “beginners”. Basically I wanted to provide you with a template you could use on a monthly or annual basis to plan out your finances. Budgeting is SO exciting, because it gives you control over your money and life! But for many people it’s scary or something they don’t want to think about, so if that is you then I hope my tips and template help.
I wrote a full page of instructions on Day 24 for how to use the template. I also posted a video which shows me going through and actually filling out the template and explaining as I go. So, definitely check that out if you want to see how our family uses this budgeting template!
